The Kensington Hotel

The Kensington Hotel

Following a twenty-million pound renovation, The Kensington Hotel officially opened its doors after a nine-month refurbishment programme. The new incarnation is a stylish pied-á-terre offering 150 rooms and suites in South Kensington.Having already refurbished The Bristol Hotel and The Marylebone Hotel, this is the third and yet the finest, that Revival has refurbished for the ’Doyle Collection’ of hotels.

The design team, led by designer, Dennis Looby, has followed a brief which was as much about restoration as it was about renovation. The buildings’ original ceiling heights and volumes have been brought back to life, as have the period mouldings and details.
The Luxury and Executive bedrooms are graced with Cornices from the ‘Art of Revival’ brochure. The Public areas have mouldings that provide huge statements. Bespoke wall paneling cast from GRP moulds and columns adjacent to sunken panels edged with staff beads. New bespoke Cornices with large plain centre pieces were installed to the Restaurant with refurbishment of the existing mouldings to
the feature staircase to complete the fantastic spectacle.

Rugby Sponsorship 2005-2009

Revival Decorative Mouldings are pleased to Sponsor AURFC Rugby sponsorship shirt

Revival Decorative Mouldings are proud Sponsors of Ampthill RUFC.

Having played mini and youth rugby, Revival’s team understands the benefits of being associated with Ampthill Rugby Club. For the last four years Revival has sponsored the Under 15’s team kit. The increased focus on the players by the dedicated team of coaches, and sheer determination by the players led the squad to become East Midlands Champions and gain promotion to division 2 in the League.

The Club provides excellent facilities for the community. Having 18 teams with more than 350 registered mini & youth players and more than 200 seniors vying for space at Dillingham Park, the club has launched a fund raising initiative to purchase new pitches. Revival has become a FOAR (Friend Of Ampthill Rugby). This sponsorship will allow the club to add 6 new pitches without relocating the clubhouse.
