This building, designed by J.T. Rachead between 1867 and 1870 in the Italian Renaissance style in the central location of George Square, is currently undergoing refurbishment. Here Revival have carefully removed sections of the original enriched Cornices, cleaned away the years of paint to allow accurate models and silicon rubber moulds to be made. With the installation of Phase I complete, Phase II is due for completion.
