Award winning fibrous plaster company Revival Decorative Mouldings
fully understand the importance of creating stunning plasterwork,
having worked within some of the country’s finest locations.

The standard plaster coving and cornice from the Art of Revival brochure are produced in conjunction with specialist plaster cornice repair and restoration of historic plasterwork using traditional methods and
materials such as Lime Plaster and Lathe & Plaster by Revival’s master craftsmen.

Those skills combined with modern materials such as GRG (Glass Reinforced Gypsum), Jesmonite
(both interior and exterior applications) and GRP mouldings (Glass Reinforced Polyester) have attained
Revival a high reputation in both commercial and residential architecture.

The Classical Orders of Architecture have been revived through the ages. Plastering has its origins in Greek
and Roman Architecture which have been reinvented creating many classical periods of interior design.

Architectural mouldings and decorative elements such as cornicing, a ceiling rose, corbels, plaster arches,
fire surrounds, a recessed wall niche, columns, dado rail, door pediments, panel mouldings, domes and
pilasters are all produced by Revival as plaster mouldings using casting plaster reinforced with hessian
and timber lathes. Each fashionable period of style added a striking new episode to the story, one
movement of creativity blending into another – a constant revival of timeless heritage.

Interior designers of today’s contemporary style have enlarged individual elements of the Ancient Orders
of Architecture.
These are produced in modern materials such as large flowing GRP Panels.

Revival provides a complete service from design,
consultancy through manufacture and installation.
